Sheri Johnson works and resides in the Metro Atlanta, GA area. Avid photographer since 1987. Very experienced in the wedding business as an entertainer/DJ/emcee and now transitioning into professional wedding photography in the portrait journalist / photojournalist style of photography.

I have never been all that excited about "traditional" portrait photography or even traditional wedding albums per say, however I am so thrilled about the direction that wedding photography has taken recently and strive to bring that cutting edge imagery to brides in the Atlanta Wedding market.

I don't believe in buying time blocks for a wedding as everyone knows weddings many times don't adhere to strict timelines, just being real. I can't tell you how many times photographers have been complaining how the bride only hired them for 4 hours and they need to leave hoping that the timeline would change to suit their needs. Because of this, my packages don't constrict you to a certain amount of hours.

I will provide full coverage of your wedding day including getting ready as well as your engagement photo shoot before your wedding, this will give a chance to get to know each other which in turn will help all of us (you, me and him) come wedding day. Oh, and I can't forget to mention, if you are looking for a "Trash the Dress" session, you better believe creative, artsy 'ol me, is all over that. If you aren't familiar with what this is about, I will be adding a section to my website to share ideas and more on how you can do a shoot after the wedding is over to really express yourself and not worry about keeping your dress all perfect and pretty.

Some interesting ideas for your engagement photos include having a photo signature guest book made which gives you a great deal of the very best engagement images all in one book where your guests would also sign the book, a very cool one of a kind book you will cherish forever. Another cool idea is getting one of my boutique framed signature mats. They are available in different sizes but I think the larger size 16 x 20 gives plenty of room for signatures and comes with an 8 x 10 print from your e-session. This mat is made of metal and the pen that comes with it permanently engraves your guests signatures so they will never fade. And of course if you are really creative, you might even use images from your e-session for wedding favors, invitations, gifts, etc. The sky is the limit of what you could do with them.

As far as wedding albums go, everything is designed professionally and available with different options. My guess is that you might also love a wedding photo book aka coffee table book, possibly also in a smaller size to carry with you to show off your wedding pictures and not to forget the mom's or grandmas too. Also available are DVD Slideshows set to music.

If you decide you are wanting a wall sized image, then the canvas gallery wraps are just what you are looking for, they come ready to hang in numerous sizes from huge to small. You can trust I am always looking for the creative shot, the artistic shot and the shot that captures the emotions, love and romance you two share.

Now you might also be wondering if I will do images for you other than a wedding, and sure enough, I am interested in that too, but weddings will be my main focus. I am experienced in portraiture of people all ages from infants and up to entire families and yes, even pets and real estate. I have shot at all kinds of events and almost any kind of photography you can imagine.

I work (shoot) on location and not in a studio as I find it is way more interesting and you can find better light if you look for natural light sources. I like to let the pictures tell the story about you, the real you, or at least the you, that you want to portray :)

I am also very experienced at working with photo editing, so I am sure that you are going to be very pleased with what I have to offer.
